High School
The UIS High School program was launched in September 2022, starting with the first Grade 9 class and will add one level each year until Grade 13.
The aim of the five-year program, which is entirely taught in English, is to prepare students for access to universities in Italy or abroad and to become global citizens capable of relating to people from diverse cultural backgrounds with empathy and understanding.
Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a diploma recognized by Italian law.
There are six core subjects planned for each year:
- English
- Social Studies (history and geography)
- Mathematics
- Science
- Italian
- Modern Foreign Language (Spanish or German)
The complementary subjects are:
- Physical Education
- Latin (for students who have a native-level knowledge of Italian)
- Design
- Art
Diplomas awarded at the Udine International School are equivalent to the country’s state diploma.
The Diploma can be conferred upon graduates ending 4 or 5 years of high school study.
